Why would I ever believe that drugs could give me more of God?

Doesn’t He give Himself freely?

Doesn’t He come to any person that cries out for His name?

Doesn’t He come to the brokenhearted and downcast and those who are poor?

Thank You Lord for this empowering thought. Will You continue to keep me on this path of sobriety?
